All that is going to happen is: 1. A giant flame that burns high and long. 2. Lots of carbon dioxide and some chromium vapour too. 3. Chromium dust flying around, so the room that you are in will need to be evacuated for cleanup (because why would you not think to do that in the fume hood?).
