Renegade343
Since the Spectra we all know of is a laser cutter, why not have the Spectra get the function of cutting grates, fans and glass that cannot be broken by normal means (i.e.: The Spectra can now cut unbroken grates, functioning fans, and glass that is not cracked or cannot be destroyed by bullets)? At least it would be fun for Spy runs.

rapt0rman
There's not really anything a spectra could cut that 90% of all the other weapons couldn't cut, and then they would just be... breakable grates/fans/glass.
