fyi i wont be able to login into game for couple days. because i upgraded my rig and formatted windows.but dont think you re safe. my kirby there....watching you all.

Sorry to hear Ch1EF. Hope you get it sorted soon. Are you still going to be doing some work on the emblem idea we spoke about, after you get your OS sorted out?

Good looking out Jack & Edster. If anyone else needs help with admin in-game let me know I'll be loggin in shortly. Think I have like 18 runs to do tonite if I want to get the spiffy new ammo whatever mods.

 

Anybody who has problems with permissions in TS still should talk to me or one of my four Generals.:Ideally LordShogun should be the primary person to contact but he's been trying to set up the permissions & admin rights for the Generals & Officers and myself so we should be able to handle all but the largest issues.

 

Please keep in mind in order to have some buffer on the recruitment side I am going to have to start kicking no-shows and people who haven't logged into the game in over a month. This will most likely start this Tuesday. If you know anyone who hasn't been able to play Warframe in quite some time but still wants to be in the Clan have them respond here or privately as soon as possible

 

As it stands I kept the right to kick someone from the Clan for myself alone. However it shouldn't be a problem to re-invite someone to the Clan if the system works the way it was supposed to, but you know how that goes...

It's totally fine if you don't have a mic, but its easier for us to communicate with you if everyone is in one place, and also because clan chat isn't very noticeable and I tend not to see anyone typing there.

Ok then first things first.

 

Recruitment: Just a few basics for those of you who may want to invite friends who don't have a Clan yet. It's not mandatory. We're not trying to increase our ranks. In fact we may be closing sown all recruitment in the not-to-distant future. We have a finite cap of 100 members. That includes "pending" (More on pending members later.) It also includes people who've already joined but for some reason have not played in a LONG time.

 

I've mentioned this before, now I'm taking action. Members who have not bothered to log in in over a month and have not contacted us directly are already being kicked from the Clan. Let me be clear on this, I don't like having to do it, but I have to in order protect our standing in the 31-100 Tier so we can continue to expand & improve our Dojo at the rate we have been going. If we go up to the next Tier we lose the discount on the materials needed to build. If we lose that we're all going to have to farm (and/or recruit), a whole lot more, to the point we'll be doing little else. Where's the fun in that?

 

Things may change at any time, and that's the fun part. But as it stands this is the only prudent course. Your Officers and Generals have all had a chance to look over the numbers and have all agreed with me. But it's my decision and my responsibility. There may be a few names I have missed or intentionally overlooked, for now. Holding out hope they'll log on and avoid the cut. Indulge me, I have my reasons.

 

Towards that end, LORDSHOGUN, CH13F, BEBRIS & RPGFORDINNER (Sorry for any misspelling.) if you can get in touch with any of our old friends from the 13th MEU Please tell them. I would hate to repay their kindness with a boot for not showing up!

 

Moving right along...

 

IF you choose to Recruit Getting the new guy "oriented" is  your responsibility!! Do NOT just hit "Invite to Clan" and forget about them. That's not who we are! Make sure they know how to build their Clan Key and can find and use the Clan Chat tab. and this may be the most important thing I say about handling new recruits, so PAY ATTENTION....

 

MAKE SURE THEY KNOW HOW TO RESPOND TO A PRIVATE MESSAGE IN-GAME!!!

 

At the very least tell new people what the PINK text means and that they can reply to it from any chat by typing /r ahead of their message!

 

We were all new once, we all had to struggle with the lack of common sense built into the game's chat system... (You'd think it was Team Fortress Classic or something!) Let's try to show the new people how helpful & supportive we can be right off the bat. Then you can make them go mano a mano with Captain Vor or do fifty laps around a reactor or whatever hazing ritual you sick monkeys come up with! Have fun with that!

Of interest, at first glance. They're taking away the Raid missions and adding new ones? Personally I like Raids, but I see their point. Not so sure I like the idea of escorting a Lotus-bot anywhere if we can't cut the vocal circuits, but hey that's just my opinion!

 

If you have any opinions be sure to check out the thread above and post them there. I'd like to ask you to represent the Clan with some sort of tag at the end of your posts if you would. Not mandatory, at all. I don't even do it all the time here or on our friends posts, but I do where I think it'll make a clear message, dig?

Just remembered.

Check out the video Gamerpro1154 did. It's on our Teamspeak in the Public Sortie #1 File Browser.

Funny stuff, I won't spoil it.

Quality is really sharp, both the audio & video. Can't quite hear Gamer. Jack & Shadow come through well when you can hear them over the other annoyingly loud guy! LOL!

Tech problems seem to be plaguing us all.

 

Went to reboot my machine and it crashes to a blue-screen as soon as it loads either the ATI Drivers or the anti-virus.

 

Working on removing and re-installing them as everything else seems ok.

 

Until then no joy.

Oh Jersey, sounds pretty grim  :(  hope you, shogun & chief get your gear sorted soon !!!!  post any PC Tech questions here, if we can help?

 

On a happier note i finally got my first 'Split Chamber' and a 'Focus' on a little 15 wave defense outing to Killiken - Venus, the enemies were only level 10 and yet i land my 2 best mods after playing for over 500 hours, WOOoooowwww i'm a happy bunny now !!!!!!   =D  Thanks to Olmanstroller & Psycho for the runs ;)

 

I think the RNG gods finally like me, lol !

yeah the problems are a plague to us yet il playing from tim eto time as i hope the game doesnt let my computer crash hope to solve it soon

Thanks for the support guys. Didn't have too many problems sorting my tech issues.

 

I'll be around on and off until Friday. I should be free all night then. Hopefully we can rally the troops for the weekend event, thanks for the heads up Gamer!
