Dunkingmachine Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) I was checking out the ducat kiosk this morning when I noticed this: All of these items (besides the Boltor BP I put accidentally there) were previously worth 50 ducats. The two Hikou parts are a large part of the t2sab droptable and the reason why it was so awesome for ducat farming. NOTHING about this is mentioned in the patch notes. Why have they been nerfed? They're not easier to get suddenly. If you nerf the amount we "need" to spend every two weeks, but also nerf the amount we can acquire, you might as well not have done anything at all. My saved up t2sab keys hurt to look at, from how useless they are now. All reliable ducat sources are gone now. Happy grinding. 4MostlyHarmless2 Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Well OP, I was just about to point out that with your current amount of resources you really shouldn't have any ducat trouble for Baro's next 2 appearances, but you edited it out so alright. It's disappointing to see the change in ducat value, but since I don't really farm ducats I don't feel as affected. I'm sure it's going to take me much longer to buy stuff from Baro now though... They have nerfed EVERY realiable ducat source and the buffed items have a very low drop chance to get. The Bronco P Barrel only drops in t3 cap with a freaking 5% dropchance. The Boltor BP buff is marginal at best, and it drops with 5% chance in t3 and 15% chance in t4 md. It's similar for the other "buffed" items. You call that a "good thing"? Now, you should just compare the farming component, meaning if the buffed parts are farmable as easily as the nerfed ones; if you put a +30 part on a rot.C on T4 Surv and nerf with a -40 something you could get in a T2Sab, even if the result is a +10 it's not an overall buff. The nerfed items all had good dropchance in missions that were somewhat easy to get and fast to complete. That's what made them so great. The newly buffed items are at least on of these: - behind hard to get keys - in time intensive locations (e.g. Def B+C) - have a miniscule dropchance The amount of ducats farmable in 1h has been nerfed into the ground, and these pseudo buffs cannot hide that fact. EDIT: btw, some of these aren't even accurate. Braton Prime Receiver and Ankyros Gauntlet have always been 50. You should edit your post.
