Snow Globe in a defence where bullets fly through the air I would say ok.... but not in ODD or DS's. that's annoying... Tip: With Snow Globe spamming DS's or ODD is like Don't forget that.... So if you are spamming globes in front of them (or on top of clumps of enemies) then it gets annoying really fast. At least they got rid of double globe-ing. Before Globs that are slightly off from each other is even more annoying as you can be inside one globe and still get your shots blocked by the off center globe.
