(PSN)FriendSharkey
Here's how I handle it. I DON'T CARE IF I GET AN ATLAS OR NOT. I save on money, time, and resources like exlius slots, reactors, and forma. In a year De sticks Atlas on a easier quest, I unlock him just by chance, or he gets dropped to 150 plat. During that time? ...Still having fun playing Warframe with my owned frames. Not willingly jumping through the RNG hoops for pending nerfed dust collectors anymore. And to be honest I think I'm going to do the quest more to just fight the giant monster rather than for the Atlas itself. Kevlareater
Throughout the farm for Atlas, the only thing that annoyed me to no end was getting the BP for the pherliac pod. Other than that, the farm was relatively quick, and getting Atlas' parts, even quicker (took literally 3 missions to get the pieces). A few pops in the butt with the Velocitus later, the boss goes down quicker than a baby taking its first steps. No allies necessary, just some leveled/potatoed arch-gear will do. Warriorrogue
A weapon which works really well against the golem that noone mentions is actually the grattler, which requires no archwing parts at all. Punchthrough plus the explosion means that it can hit 3 times per shot, which chews through health quicker then velocitus.
