Can Someone Explain This Challenge To Me?

I did a similar challenge like this one yesterday, only it didn't have to be in one match, and I couldn't understand it at all.

Do I need to kill someone in all 3 ways in his single life? Or do I need to kill him in each way for each life? I'm pretty lost on this, and since I need to do this IN A SINGLE MATCH now, I really want to know how it all works.

You need to kill opponent(1) using everything at once. Initiate with power and secondary/primary and then try to finish with quick melee slam

Great, and just as I think that's what you're NOT supposed to do. Do you know this for real? Because RobWasHere said the exact opposite thing.

Usually I get the score by either killing someone using a gun and a power ability (and vice-versa) or gun and melee weapon. The point is killing someone with a combination of the three.

Well, you were right. It was a pain, and I raged several times as the timer went to 0 with only 2 kills, but I finally completed it... UUUUGH!
