Ambiroa
I have a Simaris scanner permanently equipped, find a Kuria, switch to scanner, hold RMB to view, hold LMB to scan. But it doesn't scan. Am I missing something here?
0 -TAT-RageOfZen
Try scanning it with a normal Scanner. I scanned the Kuria I found with a normal scanner and it worked, didin't try Simaris scanner though
0 (PSN)nmcd3
Could you possibly have already scanned it previously? As you cant scan the same Kuria twice.
0 NinjaZeku
Simaris Scanner worked fine for me. You can only scan each Kuria once, did you or someone in your Squad maybe already scan that particular one in a previous mission?
0 -TAT-RageOfZen
If both work, then he should already have it scanned, I had to scan it even though a Squadmate scanned it before I did so it might be related to him having scanned it once or maybe and I hope not, he is bugging

0 Ambiroa
If I had scanned it, it would have given me a part of the poet, correct? I checked my Codex, and all paragraphs are still "????". The thing is, when you scan something, you see the animation of that diamond-shape "closing in", and it will visually confirm if you scanned properly. With this Kuria, I don't get any animation at all, I can zoom in with RMB, but click and holding my LMB does absolutely nothing.
0 xiaodenden
One can scan kuria with the synthesis scanner so that's not the problem. Were you in a team when you found that kuria? Sometimes you can't scan that if a teammate scanned it already. No idea why. Perhaps a bug. Hope you find that tile again so you can scan that particular kuria. 0 Ixxolos
I get the same issue with a kuria on an earth extraction tile. Tried so many times to scan it but to no avail, still in the process of getting the rest so if i'm missing 1 it'll be this one. Can see in the image the extraction part of the map where it is. 0 CephalonHibiya
I have been hearing several players complain about a possible (re: likely) bug involving being unable to scan Kuria both while in a team and when playing solo. I haven't tested it myself because...I've scanned them. Does seem to have cropped up as of 18,3,1 (re: before 18,4,0) though.
0 (PSN)KrakenUnchained
Host scan kuria for the whole squad, theres no bug at all, he scanned it and it shows up as already scanned for you Otherwise you (or another host) already scanned it back in the days Edited January 21, 2016 by (PS4)KrakenUnchained
