Orokin Moon Room Explanation?

I've been in this room a lot of times and press the panels till a green glow shows up around de center of the room, but I don't know if theres anything else to do there or thats just it

I think it just enables area with energy regeneration for some time. I don't think there's more to it.

 

I wish there were more interactive stuff like this on other tilesets though.

That room is definitely not the vault. Me and my friend got all 7 vault mods, but we never figured out anything to do in this room, besides enabling the energy regeneration aura in the centre of the room.

Not sure if is the same room, but is is one with 3 painels like that, it opens a smal door on the left with 3 containers and 2 lockers.

We did that and a hidden stairway opened in the center and you have to slide down it.

Yeah, that's the one.  Never found even a regular crate in there, but supposedly there's a good chance, relatively speaking, of a rare crate in that little hidden nook.
