Player Hacking In Game

What happened:

I was running the new alert when all of a sudden one of the members started spamming chat with something about runescape or other then was able to say "i can't type" ect ect then my game started to glitch out and red writing in some language started writing what i assume to be code. I panicked and shut off everything.

 

To summarize:

Did anyone else have something similar to this happen to them since the alert popped up i'm kinda worried and would like more info

no XD it like bugged out my screen kinda like if the visual cord on a tv isn't in all the way and the writing was in the top left of my screen

it might of been but it like fully took over my screen right right before the loading part of my mission and it wasn't blurry
also the symbols don't look quite right

but i could be wrong it was only up for maybe 10 seconds before i flipped out and shut down

Pretty sure your game wasn't being hacked. You can always run a cache integrity check from the Warframe launcher settings (gear near the top right of the launcher window).

whilst this is indeed not how being hacked would look, if you are unsure it is much better to ask than just assume it's a part of the game.

A hacker good enough to make that happen to your video game...

 

does not have time to waste you YOUR video game.  That guy is busy with things like Microsoft, Sony, and Governments.

 

Either that, or we're in the Matrix, and Neo is saying "Hi" to you.  

 

And if that's the case, the only thing you can do is say "Hi" back.
