How To Post Images Without Imgur?

everytime i try and post an image onto the forums it always comes up with a link to the image instead of the image itself or it doesn't show up at all. How do i post images onto the forums without imgur and without needing to press a link to see the image i pasted?

Photobucket and other similar sites do that, but I dunno if they support BBCodes.

 

You do upload to imgur, than copy paste the BBCode (Forums) link, right? Not the image link or direct link. BBCode links works for me, and just about everyone else.

my pc won't let me paste anything onto the forums for a stupid reason and if i post on ipad it always hows a link and not the image itself...

 

all i want is to upload an image onto the forums :|

I just went ahead and created an imgur account for the sole purpose of being able to upload screenshots since it doesn't like my Google Drive.

I just went ahead and created an imgur account for the sole purpose of being able to upload screenshots since it doesn't like my Google Drive.

You don't need an imgur account in order to upload pictures.

Our forums currently support the following image types: 
gif,jpeg,jpg,png

just make an imgur account and dont complain, upload the image to imgur, full screen it, right click, copy, paste here

This and image link has to extends one of the extensions.

A link that doesn't end with gif,jpeg,jpg,png will not work.

 

A possible way around is, if you ever get an image link without the extension is to manually put the image extension at the end of the link.

Or you can avoid Imgur like the devil it is and use an alternate service. I am partial to Froglies and WHFF myself, though you have to add the extension manually on WHFF.
