Is It Worth Puting Status Chance On Sonicor ?

I have been wondering if puting status chance on sonicor is a good idea. In game it shows radiation and gas icon (tested) but it doesn't seem to do anything. Any help?

Sonicor has a 0% status chance. So you can not add more to it. 


It will however 100% proc impact
and slight chance to proc your elements on it.

you just cant boost these things.

Status chance isn't were the Sonicor does good in.

It has a status chance of 0% so adding mods to increase status chance won't do anything. Those icons you are seeing are just damage being applied. If you get a status proc there are visual cues that tell you. For rad enemies pulse with energy and can attack allies, gas enemies will turn brown. The information on the UI is actually very error inducing. The projectile itself has no status chance so the UI shows a 0% status chance, but the explosion has a 25% status chance. A status build for Sonicor is actually not such a bad idea.

Make a blast sonicor for even more ragdolling mobs will actually launch farther.
