Reload mechanics question from a guy who's kinda clueless

Hey gang,

 

Why is it that if I reload after my magazine runs out and bulletjump before the reload completes, the reload starts all over again? This got me killed twice :|

Is this a thing? I try to bulletjump to get out of harm's way only to find that when I land I am put in MORE harm. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intended mechanic. All I know is that it got me killed twice!

performing a lot of actions can interrupt reloads, bullet Jumping being one of them. you should either keep moving, or find a nice spot with no enemies to reload. Mods like Fast Hands are also an option if you desire minimal reloads.

It is that way because bullet jumps are not a one-handed action and thus interrupt reloads, as do most actions. It's no bug. All I can say is learn from your mistake to not make it again.

Wait since when did Bullet Jumping stop Reloads because I've been Reloading while Bullet Jumping forever and I would hate if it was changed.
