ITS OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit late on that one m80

Also, saitama would most likely be able to tank a cannon shot to the face.

Dude is busted.

Railgun+Sub-Nuclear Artillery+Saitama unaware=He is dead

Spoilers if you haven't seen it yet

In the final fight scene, Boros unleashes an attack strong enough to destroy the planet by his own description

Saitama unleasheshis serious punch. Which cancels out boros's attack and then overrides it.

If you blew up every nuke we have ever created in one place 10 times over, you wouldn't even come close to the energy required to blow up the planet. And saitama tanked this with no S#&$s given.

I think that he is safe from pretty much everything

What? He couldn't deflect the attack, he wouldn't have the chance if they couldn't hear the shot from 50km away and there was never an announced attack, finally that it would spread over a 30km radius in less than a second.

Ok more actual math.

Saitama gets hit from earth to the moon, timescale is kinda hard, but lets say it took him 30 seconds to get there (a generous approximation based on what we see)

The moon is 370300 km away from earth or 370300000m

That means over that time his average velocity was 12343333 m/s

That is pretty quick.

But here is the fun part.

Kinetic energy (aka the energy thay he has on impact) is equal to mass x velocity squared over two

I don't have exact figures for Saitamas mass, but based on body type etc, we can assume about 70kgs.

Plug that into our formula and we get 5.33x10^15 joules of energy

That is 5330000000000000 joules, on the order of what our most powerful atomic weapons pump out, and that is a lowball estimate.

Nuking saitama would likely not work particularly well.

Edit, for the sake of clarity the actual energy of impact is equal to about 70 Hiroshima bombs. Hope that puts it in perspective

^^^

That's a sniper to kill normal humans.

The most it could actually do to Saitama is just feel like a pebble being thrown at his head. That's to say he wouldn't dodge it.

Saitama's whole deal is being absolutely overpowered, but this his main comedic aspect because unlike serious supes saitama knows he's OP incarnate and is essentially bored of life.

Also OPM is an action/comedy series so I wouldn't put his character design on the same likes as someone like Superman who tends to be more often than not, a serious character.
