Is Mutalist Alad V impossible to fight solo?

Considering he's only vulnerable when controlling another player, I'd imagine a solo fight would be impossible, unless there's something I don't know about.

Never tried it myself, just like to know if that's the case.

He's vulnerable always when he takes his collar off. This is when he puts down the wall or throws it.

You can dodge the collar and shoot him.

Huh, alright. Because what I gathered from my keyshare runs over a year ago, is that 3 players spamming Boltor Primes into him does nothing until the message pops up on the screen saying that someone is being controlled by him.

Didn't stop any of those goofs from letting their mouse button go though.

In solo his collar just staggers/stuns you for a while.

 Unless they change it was possible to one shot him with e.g. with my  x4 forma'd Opticor, so take a multi forma'd sniper/bow and headshot him when he puts up his shield.

With Loki, you can just stand there invisible and shoot him in the head with a powerful sniper/bow when he become vulnerable.  You just have to wait for him while you aim.
