Needing help on a equinox build and a Chorma build

For all builds shown, replace aura as desired, normal mod versions can substitute primed versions, lesser ranked mods can substitute fully ranked mods, normal mod versions can substitute corrupted/nightmare mods. Obviously builds becomes less effective the more you do so.

Equinox: Not my area of expertise but these have worked decently the few times I have used this frame.

Maim build: Whatever you want in the empty slot. Damage stored is not affected by power strength as such we disregard this stat as the ability's base damage is negligible against lv 35+ enemies.

Chroma: Requires a lot of work to optimize. Only use Toxin or Ice as energy color. For the vast majority of missions, armor provided by ice is excessive and I prefer to use the utility of toxin instead. There is a sentry build and a buffing build but I have not included those as they are very suboptimal ways of building chroma, very rarely will they be better than an ele ward/vex armor build. Highly recommended self damage source (concealed explosive secondary) or toxic thrown melee (same build as blessing trinity) be used in low level and very high level missions so you can control when you get the armor and damage from vex armor. Highly recommend maxed arcane avenger and grace to be used.

No. For Equinox, you can use any of the three. It depends on your preference and the situation as the builds maximize (or at least close to it) the potency of her 4, 3, and 2 abilities respectively.

For Chroma, the top build is used for everyday missions. If you are finding yourself lacking energy, change energy conversion for rage.

The bottom build is if you want to use chroma on sorties but come across the energy drain modifier. This modifier quarters your energy pool which leaves chroma with an energy pool of around ~50 meaning he cannot use either his 2 or 3 abilities and effectively neuters him. The addition of a primed flow, which pushes is base energy pool to ~500 leaves him with an energy pool of ~110 with the modifier meaning he will be able to accumulate enough energy to cast his 2 and 3 which leaves his power largely intact.

Using the Zenurik Focus and/or energy restore pads allows you to exclude the use of rage in the Chroma builds as you will be regenerating more energy than you use to cast his 2 and 3.
