Color schemes and your personal taste

I just try to keep it neat. I don't use primary colours if I can avoid it. Usually mixes of black, white and red. I still rock my immortal excalibur with that scheme. People like to meme about it being edgy for some reason, but it just looks better.

One thing I also do a lot is if I can't make my own good scheme, I randomize it until I find a random colour set that looks good, then I tweak it a bit. Sometimes I don't even tweak it, my Inaros is 100% randomized, all dusk green and brown.

I use completely different color schemes for different frames, based on their abilities. Zephyr is rainforest green, Ash is maroon and black, Nova is orange and white. But all my weapons are colored the same: Black, teal, silver, and rust-orange, with chartreuse or aqua energy.

If you're having trouble coloring, any combination of black+white+gray+another color of any kind, always looks good.

Prime colours and Black + Colour + Lighter Colour are my big go to setups. 

I've got a few unique ones like my Mesa and Trinity but most conform to the two main rules.

As long as it isn't primary and secondary colors only.  Then go your way.  I've seen some pretty well primped out rhino's rocking the mirage stance.  Do what you love.
