Is Atlas's punch (or 1 ability) melee?

I don't know why but my friend keeps saying Atlas's 1 ability is melee because it's using fists to punch the enemy, yet it's clearly an ability for a specific Warframe.

Its a Warframe ability that uses Melee mods. Cant get anymore specific than that.

• Killing an enemy with this ability is not counted as a Melee Kill. Therefore the Swordsman Challenge is not affected by the successive use of the ability.

However, oddly enough.

Atlas' Landslide is affected by Steel Charge and Melee Mods.

Landslide is affected by certain melee mods including base damage (e.g. Steel Charge),  Impact damage, elemental damage, critical damage, critical chance, and status chance mods.

So yeah, it is "technically" a melee weapon. Just won't count as melee kills, rather they will add up as "Ability kills" if that was a stat that the game actually tracked actively.

Game considers it as a Warframe ability.
But yes, it benefits from melee mods and basically a glorified melee atack.
