I never seen a bat in person either in my area, except in the zoo. So, if one were to come at me, I'm pretty sure I'll be diving for cover. Oh, I just remembered a time I was walking in the pier and I got splattered with off-white paint on top of my head and right shoulder. I was going to yell at the accursed painter and tell him to watch where he waves and paints with his brush. Except there were no painter and just a flock of seagulls overhead. Nasty nasty birds!
