"Do it threaten me, pup." Luc says. "The commander will decide whether or not your proposition is worthy hearing."

His canon hums as it charges.

"If I were you I would not be so hasty to announce friendship with the Queens. Not when people here have lost friends and family to them." He says. "And I would keep your hands away from any weapons until this mess is sorted out."

"Fine then."

Katrina payed no attention to Legio and looked at the sign the Sentient pointed at. "Oh you want to go to the tournament?"

Ryoko takes the offered rifle and weighs it in his hand.

"Weighs about what I'd expect." He says. "Considering the troops the Grineer are fielding on our Sorties armor penetration is important."

He hands it back and opens the door.

"This is my firing range." He says. "For testing my weapons. We have a few recovered by our resistance Cell on Uranus. I've been trying to up grade them a bit."

He lifts a weapon that seems to be a gridlock crossed with a shortened gorgon barrel.

"This is the Brekkar." He says.

He raizes it and fires down the room. You see targets at the end. The steel cutout melts under the swarm of plasma encased rounds from the weapon. Ryoko removes his hand from the barrel and cocks he lever. The gun HISSSS and you can feel the heat from where you stand.

"Problem is the mechanism generates too much heat for field use." He says. "Take a look around, unless you have any suggestions."

You see a few tags on weapon cases. Threskar, Tok, and more Grineer sounding names.

The trinity takes her vectis back when it's offered, the tenno looking around at the firing range, very much liking what she sees. Various grineer designed weapons lining the walls, all of them looking like they hold very creative ways of immolating or otherwise perforating whatever happens to be at the business end.

She watches Ryoko fires what appears to be the lovechild of a Grinlock and Gorgon, though what the weapon fires is a bit differant than either of the former weapons. Nox briefly steps back as the air around them heats up rapidly when the clip opens, the tenno near instantly having an idea pertaining to this weapon

Eon: "You could always weaponize the excess heat, make it do work. Thermal energy can be a nuisance or a tool, depending on how you look at it. That heatsink could be weaponized when it reaches it's threshold. Molten metal, or near molten metal hurts, no matter who, or what you are." The trinity looks around breifly before Eon continues "The other possibility is to make use of corpus tech, and use the excess heat on air. Store it in a fieldron and you have superheated plasma. I'm sure you can think of creative ways to immolate foes with that"

He sets off leading you towards the Headquarters.

A grey liset flew to the rail. Inside of it was a visage nova prime. She had been having a rough day and for some reason her clanmates thought that this place might be where she could relax a bit. It was true that she needed to relax considering how many missions she ran the last few hours.

She sighed when she recieved the small question list and opened a comm channel to the rail.

"Name is Cynthia, am a tenno and here to take look through the research you guys do on this planet or fight if you need fire support somewhere."

"You are clear for Punch" Simon says after scanning the craft and determining that there was no contraband. "I'll let the Arbiter know another researcher is coming."

"Aight." Cynthia shortly responded as she prepared her ship for the punch. Hopefully this research lab would over something new for her to mess around with. Last few she raided barely had anything interesting to use. But than again that where grineer labs and not tenno ones.

As you arrive on the planet you receive coordinates to a small building. If it is a lab it seems to be a very small one.

It wasn't what Cynthia expected to see. Just a small lab, but appearances can decieve. She let her liset fly in closer. Hopefully there was a free landing pad/

You land on the provided pad and enter the building. The room inside is a simple waiting room.

Cynthia immediatly shot away from the wall when the wave of light washed over the room. Almost grabbing one of her akstiletto primes of her hip. She quickly realised it was just a travel system they used here. She was way to used to being led into traps by corpus and grineer. She really needs to get the fact that this is a tenno controlled planet in her head.

The trinity walks to the back of the room, hefting the weapon tagged threshkar, turning it around in her hands and examinining it.

"Civilians loaded." Theylin says. "We have incoming."

Several Grineer warships come out of punch. Several of the Sons of Hayden's ships fire. The beams tear into the Galleons.

"Fold engines charging." He says. "Keep them off us for a few more minutes."

Beams lance out from the ships, cleaving through Grineer fighters. But for every one they cut down more arrive. Still the sheer firepower the shops can muster is impressive.

The good part: the left wing attack vessels and the carrier one were now free to leave since the ground evac was over. The bad part: two grineer galleons and one flagship arrived. Unsurprisingly, the grineer reinforcements engaged in a skirmish with the carriers, since they were more obvious targets and seemed to be the main priority of the hostile fleet. Something has to be done to prevent carriers with civvies from sustaining damage, and, judging by the facts that the big vessels were already exchanging blows from the deck calibers and there was neither time nor tactical reason to board and sabotage the warships, the solution should've been made fast.

"Xiphoses one and two - join the right wing and take the assault formation; Scout vessel - initiate the "covert bombship" scenario; Carrier two - pick up scouting vessel's pilot and then get the hell out" The mesa commanded briefly, "We're going to draw these pig-dog's attention, so prepare to evade deck cannons once the "present" hits the target"

Just as she said, the second mantis carrier grabbed the liset pilot, who evacuated the ship that shown the overcharge signs shortly after, went invisible and proceeded in hostile flagship's direction. Within ten seconds, the "charged" and invisible liset, who was directed by the auto-pilot to the flagship's reactor segment, penetrated the crude hull armor and detonated with a horrible force within the grineerish flying monstrosity, rendering it immobile and partially powerless.

Immobilization of the head unit forced remaining galleons to reconsider the threat levels and to open fire in smaller ship's direction. Clones "swallowed" the bluff and now tried to secure themselves from small but devious fighters and bombers. But, in light of the fact that the fighters were almost out of munitions, the wing focused mostly on maneuvering as if they tried to reach the "torpedoing" trajectory, dodging fire, and taking down occasional lesser crafts. They only had to sustain this "hidden threat" bluff and to draw fire away from the carriers for a half a minute or so. Luckily, the carriers began to disappear one after one. As soon as the last one punched away, the remaining wing vessels suddenly took a sharp turning maneuver and boosted away from the zone of operation on high speeds.

 ~~~~~~~~
After about half an hour after the end of the evac operation, two vessels that took part in this sortie approached the rail jumping gates.
"Rail control? Do you copy? This is the White Tiger's Cove convoy. We're returning from the latest mission. The colonel is off to the raid at the moment, so the delegation composition has been altered. Please, secure the docks for one heavy scimitar and one mantis carrier"
It appears similar to a Harpak. However it is much more boxy. You see small slits in the end of the barrel. The cartridge next to it contains multiple small blades.
As the elevator room comes to a halt you hear faint gunfire. However it seems coordinate, not sporadic, not a firefight but a training exercise.
"First door to your right." The voice says. "We have cameras on everything so don't go sneaking around. And try not to drool all over the Zariman."
((See the description given to BulletsforTeeth of the lab room.))
"Rail control, we do not have access to the Chancellor's contact frame. Please inform officials of our arrival. We'll be waiting for the meeting party in the same landing docks our previous convoy occupied. Thank you" The Mesa said and switched the comm channel to give orders to the "preggie" mantis.
Soon, the miniature convoy docked at the mentioned place. The familiar mesa along with the operatives that supported the evac operation on the ground and the group that breached the galleon was waiting for the official meeting, lazily eyeing the hustle at the docks that was caused by the disembarkation of the vast numbers of refugees from the Sons of Hayden carrier spaceships. This time, the group of nine tenno behaved much more relaxed comparing to the initial visit.
You see a group of armored humans walking through the crowd to you. Two are heavily armored Archons, and the other two are the winged Seraphs. The figure in the middle is wearing ornate robes and has a pair of Seraph wings on her back. She is carrying an ornate spear and occasionally stops to shake a grateful civilians hand or pat one of the civilians on the shoulder.
The Chancellor stops before your group.
"Tenno." She says. "Well done. Without your assistance many of these people would not be here."
You see the people around you give grateful looks and a few bow as they pass.
"Are any of you authorized to negotiate on your clan's behalf?" The Chancellor asks. "Or would you like somewhere to wait for the commander?"
The Mesa steps forward.
"You're the Chancellor, I suppose. You may call me major Bloom; I was assigned as this delegation's coordinator. Unfortunately, colonel Teloch is now preoccupied and won't be able to be here. But, nevertheless, we received instructions to proceed with the standard negotiation protocol and to open the comm link with the colonel in the appointed time. Since my job is to establish and secure the comm channel, can we please proceed to the negotiations room and ask the rail control to establish the comm bridge with Terminus? Until then, I am authorized to participate in the conversation, should you have any minor questions"
The Chancellor nods.
"Of course." She says. "Rail control maintains constant communication with our agents in the Origin system, so securing a line should not be a problem. If you will follow me."
The group turns and heads towards the Citadel. You see Theylin and his personal guard, a cell of Excalibur Prime warframes, fall in behind them as they move.
Theylin and the Chancellor drop back to walk with the Mesa. However their guards keep an eye on them. You can see shadowy figures moving along the rooftops. One stops for a second and you see a red and black Ash with a sniper. He surveys the scene for a second before moving on.
"Theylin tells me your fighters managed to take down several Grineer Galleons." The Chancellor says. "I am interested in seeing what you could accomplish with a few of our Defender-class ships. Of course the provision of such ships would on an as-needed basis."
Theylin stops for a second and holds a hand to his helmet. His voice echoes out across the comms, broadcasting on all channels.
"Incoming!" He screams.
A broken message reaches you.
"Synergy.... unknown craft...." The Transmission says. "Heavily damaged. Course corrections."
The ground shudders as a craft slams into the ground between the group and the citadel.
"Theylin!" The Chancellor says. "The Civilians."
You see the glimmer of steel and energy through the clouds of dust.
Theylin barks a command and his people begin to herd Civilians back towards the ships. He and his guard join the Archons and Seraphs as they close on the dust.
"Energy signatures match no known assailant." A Tenno voice says. "Except... Acolyte!"
A gray and crimson Rhino, with a Stalker helmet bursts from the dust, dual wielding War greatswords.
What a day... Mesa thought sardonically
"Black bruiser forty meters at ten!" she yelled half annoyed.
Both squads momentarily livened up:  Frost shot the icicle charge to slow down the incoming hostile; Rhino, Chroma and Valkyr from the assault squad raised their defenses and executed their group empowering abilities, taking the front positions; the previously mentioned frost raised the globe and took the mid position, along with the Mesa and Oberon, who already spread the hollow grounds to prevent unpleasant surprises with hostile abilities; Banshee, Nova and Tinity occupied the globe at the rear and proceeded with casting their buff abilities. The operatives have already had the experience of dealing with the Acolytes, alas this one seems to be the fresh one. Knowing that these scoundrels can nullify or counter different powers and have different degrees of melee and ranged resistances, the group proceeded with scouting this one's behavior and capacities, showering the hostile target with adjustive fire.
The trinity nods slightly liking the look of this weapon. Even Eon lets out an "Ooooh, this should be interesting"; followed by a slightly psychotic giggle from the cephalon. Nox's cephalon is most certainly not the standard ordis.
Nox hefts the weapon to her shoulder, getting a general feel for it before firing, finding the kickback to be, unsurprisingly, negligible, considering the projectiles.
((Eon is supposed to be male, by the by. Not sure if I've made this clear at all, due to the somewhat complicated setup between him and Nox))
