Melee 3.0?

I saw this game and immediately thought it looked like a slowed down, stripped down version of  @Warframe. The one thing I did like about it was the melee combat and how the hit collision and animations made the impact of melee hits feel beefier. I would love to see something like this come to @Warframe as a way to improve melee combat.

In Warframe it seems like the more powerful something is, the less weighted the impact feels. Most of the time things seem to just ragdoll. I would prefer something that look like this the animimations in this clip but was faster like Warframe.

I dont think so. This style of melee is more similar to Witcher or Dark Souls where failing to block attacks would lead to death. Its more of a dual style where your attack and defense abilities of you and your opponents are roughly the same. Warframes melee is more of a hackandslash style where you dont have to worry about blocking and countering.
