What exactly is a "set"

I understand that a set is all the parts for a particular weapon/frame/etc. This does not includes the materials. My question is that are the parts ok in BP form or do they have to be crafted. Thanks.

For primes weapons or frames,

you need it in bp form to trade for frame(w/nezha) components.

Do not craft any prime component, or alter from the state of it when you received it from the void if you want to trade it.

For prime/event weapons, you need to keep the bp and components

 

Basically, don't alter or craft a single thing if you want to trade it.

It is blueprints. crafted parts are untradeable.

In order to trade, the parts must be in their raw, blueprint forms. If they are already built, you're out of luck.

For Warframes, all three parts need to be built before you can build the actual main blueprint. And no, you can not trade built Warframe parts.

prime weapons/frames don't need to be crafted to trade, most of them (exceptions being akstilleto and akbronco (if you include single broncos)) come in 5 parts so you can give all parts in one trade anyways

For prime frames it is all the bps, but for a weapon it would be the bp and all prime parts.
