What's the point to high level Fissures?

Maybe I missed something, but I can't find anything that tells you the advantage to doing a high level Fissure over a low level one.

So... is there? (besides of course there not always being a lower level option)

well, different drops. you can use different relics in the higher level fissures

Are they? I can use any of my Relics in a T1 as I can in a T4.

Negative, lith, meso, neo, and axi relics can only be used in their own respective tiers.

You can use any t1 relic on any t1 fissure, it seems you haven't understood the system yet, try selecting different fissures and seeing the relics you can use on each ones.
