Orthros Prime Build

Hey, guys. Well i've had the orthros prime for a while now, and it's a pretty good melee weapon in my opinion. But I kinda wanna make it a bit stronger than it currently is. What kinda mods should i put on it? Like, should i build it for slash, puncture, impact, crit damage, or what?

pressure point.fury.reach.unranked life strike. 3x element 90% focus energy. and u life strike will use only 5 energy...... dont max life strike

Pressure Point - Primed Reach - Fury - Body Count - Life Strike - 3x elemental mods

The long range is the real selling point of the Orthos Prime so you really want to have primed reach on it. Also because of the fairly good attack speed and the ability to hit multiple enemies per hit, the Orthos builds up the combo meter quiet quickly so Body Count really helps with the damage output.

Primed Pressure Point / Reach / Fury
Maiming Strike, Organ Shatter
3x 90% Elements (Corrosive + Heat FTW)

With Primed Reach, those slide attacks are just bonkers.

(Yeah, no Life Strike, but so what, Medi-Ray usually keeps me topped off well enough
and for emergencies there's always a quick Large Team Health Restore or two, heh.)
