I can't speak for DE, but sometimes I get the feeling that they really don't want us mixing and matching different armor sets together. Not sure why, but this isn't the first time they've released some cosmetics that have PBR metal but have made the metal tint 3 instead of tint 4. I think it'd be great if all cosmetics had their metal on tint 4 as well, but I doubt they'll change this. They haven't done it in the past and I doubt they have any real incentive to change it now. Trying to use immortal skins on a prime is a pain, you have to balance a dark gold with poo brown all over the frame... I can cope with being unable to colour syandanas and armor sets separately but at least bring Uru Prime tint in line with the other accesories.
