Glyphs

So I'm pretty new to warframe and just got the new silver grove update today and I was just wondering what are glyphs and what do you use themy for.  Couldn't find a answer online

Glyphs can be used as Profile Icons or you can equip them under Gear and use them as a spray paint in missions.

They're basically profile icons that you can spray around, like the Kuria one I'm using now. However, to get good ones you need plat, so don't buy them.

 

As far as how to use, they equip to your item inventory

It might help to think of them as Profile Pics, which you can also inflict on the environment in-mission.

Glyphs are the new profile icons. They upped their detail and added ones with invisible backgrounds that look better for when "sprayed" on walls. In your Gear menu in the Arsenal you can equip a glyph... thingy. This glyph thingy is how you spray them on walls.

Glyphs as stated above by my tenno comrades are new wave profile icons you can "spray" on to items in the game environment (granted you paid the platinum to get the glyph sprayer from the market)  it can be equipped in game by going to your arsenal > loadout > gear and then set to one of the open slots.
