Okay...what? (Nano Spores)

Okay, so I can't farm Nano Spores in Saturn yet. How about in Orokin Derelict? I just need to craft a key and.... S#&$, I need Nano Spores. I'm literally at a dead end? Only way I can get Nano Spores right now is when I'm lucky to be on during an alert that rewards them? Or am I missing something super 'obvious'?

Vapor specters don't require nano spores to craft, to get them you need to do a lower level rescue mission or do a worse job at your current ones.

The Specters scale with mission difficulty and how well you do.

My reccomendation is to do the lowest level rescue you can (I'd immagine they're pretty low though since I assume you're just starting off) then Set off the alarms intentionally if you can and don't kill all of the wardens (Preferably don't kill any to be sure but the requirement is you kill them all for the point) that should grant you with just one point for rescuing the hostage which will grant you the lowest reward, which should be a vapor specter.

appearantly there is no reward for totally screwing up a mission that's too low a level so go to a rescue on earth and just make sure you set off the alarms and kill all of the wardens that should grant you 2 points with the one from the hostage and give you a vapor specter. (I checked the wiki this time so this is correct, Thanks to @Poke007 for notifying me.)

Getting 1 point on level 1~15 rescue gets you no reward, you need at least 2 points for a Vapor Specter since only level 16~24 gets you a Vapor at 1 point.

They already noticed this. The vapor spectres (the cheapest ones) no longer require nano spores. The catch is that getting a vapor spectre bp requires totally screwing up a rescue mission but still winning. You have to have the alarms go off in the vault and not kill all the wardens. So just screw up a rescue, and you're on your way to europa!

These junction requirements are still a little silly to me, they should be things that you organically get from having done that planet, that's it. "Craft a Specter" is pretty terrible.

If you want specifics:

You can earn 3 points in a rescue that determine your reward

1 point for not setting off the alarms

1 point for killing all of the wardens

1 point for rescuing the hostage

That said the easiest point to lose would be the alarm one so I suggest you go into earth and just run in shooting anything that moves, you'll get the warden point and assuming the mission is a success the hostage point to which should grant a vapor specter

Okay, so I tried an easy rescue mission on earth, killed probably every grineer. Passively allowed one of the two wardens to sound the alarm before pinning them against the terminal. Saved princess. Killed everything on our way to extraction. I'm pretty sure I should have gotten 2 points for that Vapor Specter. Nope. Still got a Phase specter. 

That taxi is starting to sound good.

You could try a higher level rescue? I thought that you had to do the worst job possible, and if that doesn't work on earth maybe a higher level one will.

Took a taxi. Is this really the only way people are going to avoid these minor inconveniences, just calling to get escorted when we're stuck? If so, i find it very faulty and kind of annoying. I like playing solo. I learn a lot from enemies and I don't have to slide around the map all crazy-like.
