Launcher/Updater Suggestions

So some of the last few updates have been rather large in filesize... this one being 3.5GB+.

 

I've been away from Warframe for a little while, so for me it's 4.2GB.

 

You know what would be nice?

1). Launcher Lite. A version of the launcher that ONLY downloads the update and nothing else. Perhaps have a button that you need to click that switches to this mode after the user has viewed all the fancy stuff. No fancy animations gobbling up CPU resources and RAM. Something I can run in the background while I play games while waiting on such a large download to complete.

2). Throttle Options. I live in a household with 2 other people, one of which likes to use the internet sometimes too. See, when I take up 100% of the available downstream bandwidth, it creates massive lag for everybody else and latency spikes. I would like to tell the launcher to use, say, 50% of my downstream bandwidth which is easily enough that the other person can do their internet stuff without ridiculous amounts of lag.

This would make updating the game a lot easier and more convenient, because right now, 50% speed > 0% speed.

I literally cannot update the game until/unless the other person in the household is not using the internet.
