Spawn location of players joining already started missions

Is it a intention that if you join already started mission, you are spawned at starting point?
Your squad is half way away, so the goal of whole mission for such later joined player is just run as fast as possible to catch up with the rest of squad before they reach the extraction point.
I mean this question seriously, because my impression is that it is intentional change and in that case I will not even try to play on matchmaking set to public, because definitely more than 50% of my missions would be just obstacle sprint simulator (obviously it is not the reason why I play this game).

I'm certain it's not intended, the flow of the mission is just ruined for players joining late. It doesn't even happen all the time, but it is very annoying.

not intended and i think devs are already aware and working to fix

i was having this problem for a couple days, then someone ingame  told me i should reinstall warframe, and some how it helped, i only encountered that only 1 other time

Hotfix 19.0.5 fixed the issue, then 19.0.6 broke it again
