Kestrel after first bounce is homing

So, Im playing Ivara with Kestrel as primary weapon and I noticed, that when you throw it and it hit enemy and then bounce, it ALWAYS tries to hit other target, in other words it goes homing. Its not always the closest one, but definetly its trying to hit another enemy. It often misses Infected, but has no problems aganist Grineer or Corpus.

 

Im running build with Entrophy Flight, Whirlwind, 4 elemental mods, primed Heavy Trauma (+ 135% atm) and Pressure Point. Its constantly dealing 20k damage while in Prowl and lets me stay infinite Prowl till i can kill anything.

Because of this homing thing, I dont run Power Throw with Quick Return, also tested that it deals more damage with 4 elem mods than PT with QR deals at explosions.

Is there any1 else that has this experience with homing throw melee?

On and off yes. I wish it had guaranteed homing even if the first bounce is off a wall, but them's the breaks

i use the flight speed mods on my glaive and cerata so i cant actually see. i generally only use it on maps ill know will be dominated by hallways.

The infested glaive has this property as well. It's pure elemental so you may want to look into if.

My Kestrel is extremely fast and after first hit it does simply curve midflight to another target.

I got maxed Cerata, but syndicate mod for Kestrel beats everything.
