How do you farm focus

I have the normal Zenurik lens equipped on my Warframe and Greater lens on my Nikana. Do I need to need to put greater lens on all weapons for maximum efficiency farming? 

I want 75,000 focus for max energy overflow. 

How do I farm Focus? 

Also, am I guaranteed to get lenses by doing theses 'sorties'?

Lenses are not a promised thing from Sorties, but if you keep doing them, you'll most likely get one.

I usually get focus by putting a lens on Mag and going to town on Hydron, Sedna

You can also do a high-level Extermination mission stealthily, to benefit from the 500% EXP booster

To do this, you must understand how it works

1. 1 lense on each part

2. must be equipped on lvl 30 frame

3. the focus you will get is based on the lense you equipped

4. you wil get 1.25% for normal lense and 1.75 % for greater lense ( if you forma it, it will only kick in after the equipemnt reach lvl 30)

 

SO, this focus depends on the AFFINITY you gain

-> So kill more

-> kill with stealth ( invi / behind / using silent weapon) to get bonus

 

AND ITS CAPPED 25k / day

It is capped at 100K a day not 25k

Also for today I was testing out I ran -Nezha/Defense/Sortie 10 waves/ 65-80 level - As long as you get that fire walker running efficiently you can not only protect the moving hostage but consistently gain focus rep from the CC on the enemies. Usually Defense, Survivals, Interception, Excavations make great places to earn focus.

This is what i do to get 100k (daily focus cap)

i get mirage and Synoid (both have the same greater lens).

Go to Akkad or Hydron or lua, do 20 waves. repeat the mission one more time, and you are done.

(you will get more focus point from 10 to 20 more than 1 to 10)

(make sure you pick up the focus beacon everytime)

Tip: try to pick it up at the beginning of a wave and not in the middle, as you will waste time waiting for the second wave.

Always stay close to your team to share affinity.

Remark: i have noticed ( i am not sure of it or why) that if your team members kill more than you, then you will get more focus point then if you kill more.

Now if your sortie for the day has survival, exterminate or defense, try repeating them and you will end up getting the full cap daily faster as you get more focus points with high level enemies.

PS: it will also help you to get the syndicate cap at the same time providing you have put the right siguil
