Rogue, the Thief - Warframe Concept

I played an evil knight character before, oh no, now excalibur is evil.
I played an evil paladin also, oh no, does that meen oberon is evil too?

You aren't getting the point man.  I'm just saying that a rogue is someone who isn't within the law. Either for piracy, banditry, thieving, killing, or jesting.  A rogue class is anyone from thief to assassin to god knows what.  I once had a rogue who threw rocks at the guards to F*** with them.

So, you're saying this thief named Rogue needs to be a bandit/assassin instead?
How about a knight named warrior that is actually a barbarian/berserker?
Or a wizard named mage that is actually a shaman/scorcerer?
You play DnD, so you know they are all different classes, each with their own setup of skills and leveling.

just because bandit and mugger are synonyms to thief, that doesn't mean a thief is a bandit.
If you want a good idea of a thief, play the video game called Thief.
The goal is to steal things, and not get caught. Because, as a thief, guards can kill you pretty fast.
You even get a bad score for every guy you kill, so you want to kill the least amount you can.

Tweaks.

Added, 3rd power's Hold to cast function,

  • Hold to cast on target: Pickpocket
  • Pick the target's pocket to receive extra loot.
  • Each enemy can only be pick-pocketed once.
  •  
  • Cast Range: 1/2/3/4 meters (unaffected by anything)
  • Steal Timer: 5/4/3/2 seconds (power duration)

Build 2.8.1

Added augment to 2nd power.

  • Augment: Plunderer's Tools
  • Can now use Lockpicks on treasury and vault doors if you have a Dragon Key equipped.
  • On a successful Lockpicks attempt on a treasury or vault door, the Dragon Key is lost.
  • Grappling Hook now has a one time chance per enemy to make them drop extra loot.

  • Dragon Key Lockpick Chance: 10/20/30/40%
  • Extra Loot Chance: 10/20/30/40%

Please don’t make us have to use an exilus adapter to build her. For everyone that’s not mr16+ like me, exilus adapters are kinda hard to get, maybe change that ingredient to one of the unique ayatan stars you mentioned in the quest, maybe the diamond. Overall though, I like this concept a lot, and would use her as soon as the quest drops.

Build 2.9.5

Added Power 3 Tricks Augment.

  • Entrap "trick someone into committing a crime"
  • If an enemy tries to use an effected console,
  • the console will attempt and fail to hack itself, dealing 10/20/30/40 electric damage to the user,
  • and alert other enemies to the user, who will then attack him or her thinking he or she is a spy.
  •  
  • Plant incriminating evidence on pick-pocketed enemies.
  • If another enemy gets within 1.5/3.0/4.5/6.0 meters of the effected enemy, they will see it, and attack them.

I really loves your concept, especially this one. But i would like to know how much energy she has.

 

Also i think you should giving her more health or she will be useless in end game.

 

And for her skills, you should do something like "a short click select the power between that and that, a long click uses the selected power" and you should add more effects on enemies

The powers already work like that.
Tap 1 to use Caltrops, Hold 1 to use Trap-Hack.
Tap 2 to use Lockpicks, Hold 2 to use Grappling Hook.
Tap 3 to use Bypass, Hold 3 to use Pickpocket.

I like the Dungeons & Dragons character class references for a warframe.

[ After I built Harrow, it looked like a Wizard while having a staff weapon equipped. It would be fitting to have magic spell type abilities instead of the current ones for Harrow.]
