Smeeta rare resource question

When using Smeeta Kavat: Does the rare resource from Charm appear in your "inventory" or do you still have to pick it up from the ground?

a.k.a can you miss his drop?

straight in inventory in my experience, although my personal experience is pretty limited as I don't seem to get many rare drops even when using him

The double resource buff is applied when you pick up the resource, so it doubles the number you pick up, not the number on the ground.

@beckettb That not the answer i'm looking for. I'm talking about the Charm mod for Smeeta. (rare resource drop)

There's the 2X Affinity and Resource buff, but there is also a happenstance where it simply gives you a resource directly into your inventory. It used to be bugged and if it decided to proc the "give rare resource" effect while the resource doubler buff was also going, it would wig out and give you like 30 of them.

 

That's how I ended up with over 350 neurodes  and neural sensors each, in one week. o 3o

that is in fact exactly what it does.

Yea, you can see ( after charm is activated ) the notification below with 1 rare resource, the same one when you picked up resources from the ground
