What's Up With Wukong in ODA?

I've notice twice already (once in the last sorties and once just for funzies) that people tend to bring entire squads of Wukong into ODA missions. Both times, everyone left because I didn't put my Wukong on and left me perplexed. Is there a strat I'm not familiar with at play?

well lephantis is known for his large aoe fatal attacks and wubong can defy death. pun intended

so i guess people just wana make stuff easier c_c

Yea, but I've never considered Lephantis to be the type of boss you game plan for. I've wiped the floor with him with pretty much all the frames, I just think there's something else going on. Ether that or I'm way overthinking it.

Lephantis has no energy drain or dispel mechanics so defy is a pretty effective way to make sure you'll never go down fighting him. That's all i can think of cause its certainly not for his melee abilities.

Eh. Inaros has like 5k HP. You don't need a Wukong. Heck, Nova is even better.

Its been a long time, but I always took a slova? I guess wukong is a good switch up, but to require it from the entire squad seems unusual.
