Is Nidus suppose to be able to use Link on Bosses ?

As the title says, is he supposed to be able to link bosses ? i was in a phorid invasion today and a team mate who was a nidus kept linking to the boss making it immune damage. If it isnt intended, i hope it gets fixed ASAP

Probably due to being an old boss.

For reference, The Sergeant is vulnerable to Covert Lethality. (Even though any melee finisher will be enough because he's so damn weak)

Highly likely. Phorid's model and animations are linked to generic chargers, so you could realistically Fatal Teleport it with a dagger and possible Parasitic Link it.

Probably not, or maybe with reduced duration however DE is handling bosses and abilities now.

Not sure if you're aware, but it's important to note that the damage the target receives while linked isn't wasted even if it isn't apparently killing him.

• Enemy target is invulnerable to outside sources of damage and immune to external crowd control effects while Parasitic Link is active, but is not immune to damage and crowd control effects transferred from Nidus. Damage from outside sources is accumulated and dealt to the target when the ability duration expires or when manually deactivated.

Linking things doesn't make them immune to damage, it just gives them stored damage. Once the link wears off they'll be spiked for all the damage would otherwise have received.

Works like well of life is the sense it stores the damage until the ability times out.
