-AncientWarrior-
DE PLEASE.. we have waited way too long for Vacuum mod to be allowed on our pets...I love taking out 1 of my 14 pets but get really tired having to run around everywhere picking up stuff.. look these pets are younger and fitter than this old Warframe they have better eyes and cover much more distance :) but they just need Vacuum to make them really handy .. I want to use them more but they just don't compare to the sentinals with vacuum.. we need to support pets in space .. and since space is a Vacuum it is common sense to apply this to our beloved Pets .. Come on DE ..Support the Space Pets Program ... "Free Willy, Vacuum for Pets .. Free Willy, Vacuum for Pets .. Free Willy, Vacuum for Pets .. Free Willy, Vacuum for Pets .. " Have a great day .. Renathy
It should be a passive for Warframes and Archwings. It would solve companion exclusivity for once and improve Archwing.

Aniawn
Hmm...a Smeeta Kavat with Scavenge, Vacuum, and Charm...kind of getting a Carrier/Vacuum vibe again. Wouldn't giving pets Vacuum make the Chesa Kubrow's Retrieve ability pointless? Edited February 2, 2017 by Aniawn

Because nobody uses Adarza Kavats or Support-based dog breeds at all and having vacuum on pets would definitely make Smeeta more appealing to those people. StabbyTentacles
Yes. Also: Itzal is Archwing. There was Archwing, then there was Itzal. So it is written.
TheChaotic1
Honestly I'd settle for weaker vacuum on pets, and have Chesa's retrieve have the same effect, since they go out to find important loot, it'd actually end up better then vacuum alone. Maybe do like Retrieve: +4m vaccuum, Chesa seeks out loot to pick up, prioritizing mods and resources.

It's most effective when you stop completely and wait a moment for it to activate, which is a terrible thing to do in any Warframe mission. 3 hours ago, Aniawn said: Hmm...a Smeeta Kavat with Scavenge, Vacuum, and Charm...kind of getting a Carrier/Vacuum vibe again. The dog grabs totally random stuff at random intervals and may or may not return to you with said item. Meanwhile, they're not attacking or disarming anyone while they're prancing about with a can in their mouth. Add a kubrows wonky AI and it's just a total S#&$ show to see in action. It's the worst ability in the game on any frame or companion, bar none.

Yes. Regardless, it never worked quite as bad as stated in that post, to begin with. The AI was broken after a few updates to be wonky, but, originally, it was so efficient at its job (relatively speaking, of course) that people were getting upset if they didn't use Carrier because almost every single instance of loot would be nabbed by the dogs. It was about the time they changed it to simply give the owner the item (barring mods) that the AI broke and it became pretty unreliable and awful.
