The intruder quickly reached behind him, and pressed something on the back of his head. Several short beeps rang out, before a dull, wet thud could be heard inside his helmet. It tumbled off his shoulders, leaving nothing but a bloody stump of a neck behind.
"Jesus.." Bojaun said, just staring at the stump. Off in the distance, the roaring of engines could be heard as the Intruders patchwork ship rose from the deserted town, taking off as it flew over head.
"I don't know what happened to him after continuity, but I know I wouldn't have done that...." Bojaun reminisced. He turned to the Constable. "...What did I hear about Tenno?"

"Don't worry about it," The Constable said, walking over to pick up the head. Even if the subject had expired, something might be gleaned from its corpse.

With a severed head in hand, he turned back to look at Bojaun.

"You should get going," he said, "My... allies... might not be satisfied with just this corpse."

The head in the helmet the Constable was holding was less head and more red paste. The flesh slurry could be seen dripping from the base of the helmet.
Bojaun looked a the Constable. "I don't have a ship. Hell, I don't have a way to call a ship. Unless there's an old tram-way out there, I'm pretty much stuck." He began tapping his foot. "...what exactly would these 'allies' of yours do to me if they found me?" He asked, now sounding a bit concerned. "I mean, that is what you mean about not being satisfied, right?" he continued moving towards one of the buildings.

He had found very little, but not nothing. That alone made this journey worth it. He was laying prone in an elevated area, checking the mostly featureless desert nearby. Anything here would stick out like a sore thumb.

And then, he found what he was looking for. Tiny pieces of debris, only visible at max zoom. It looked to be scrap metal. There wasn't enough there for it to be even a smaller ship, so it had to be leftover from a cleanup. He surveyed the area around it, and much to his dismay, saw movement.

Muttering to himself, he sighed and held down the trigger on his Lecta. He heard the hum of the weapon charging as he lined up a shot...

Currently, there were four tenno operating in one of the nearby towns, although there were numerous unusual void signatures all across the graveyard of ships. In the orokin tower ship orbiting over the surface, there were no registered tenno. However, the ship was emitting enough void energy to account for an entire clan.

And finally, in a small ship flying away from Leveret's location, a lone tenno was detected.

"Aha, well, that looks promising. Keep track of the signature on that one. I'm still on call planetside, though, so I think I'll ask around a bit more in town. Maybe some of the other tenno know what's up."

And so, Leveret performed the same routine as before - landing just outside of town, hopping out of his ship, and heading with a purposeful walk to the nearest tenno. It was worth checking in with them anyway, he decided, feeling a bit as though he had forced himself into a wild goose chase.

"Well," the Constable said, scanning the skies, "That depends on who they send to pick me up. The Marshals or the Inquisition."

"Well," Abigail said, "What I'd do is capture an officer of some sort and interrogate them for intel, but that's just me. There have been some sightings of white-cloaked men out in the fringes of charted wreckage, if you wanna try a different approach."

"...we'll take a look. any lead is better than none..." Mia whispers as she slides off the roof top and onto the empty streets below, meeting up with another cloaked mass pattering at her feet. As the Nyx and her cat backpack reach the outskirts of the small settlement, one last phrase enters the remaining two on the roof, flittering like birdsong on the wind.

"...do you have a general location to pin down...?"

He had scoured the debris. He filed away the information he had gathered to study later. He had seen a settlement during his "landing". He knew his ship was being salvaged by scavengers, which would only serve to cover his tracks further. Drinking all of his remaining water to keep himself going a little longer, he set off in the direction of the settlement.

(Unless any shenanigans happened at Deadwood that destroyed it, this guy's going there. My goal is to basically try and get involved in the main story.)

((I'm assuming that you don't intend for the other to follow, correct?))

"The outer fringes of the charted fields of wreckage." Abigail repeats dryly.

As Mia and Aria leave, Abigail steps out of her warframe, pulling out a roll of fume from a pocket of her suit and igniting it. Black smoke drifts upwards as she takes in a deep pull, and she sighs in relief. Sarah had tried to get wean her off the stuff, but Abigail had never been able to fully quit.

Marcus gave her a meaningful look, but she ignored it, savoring the feeling of warmth flowing through her.

"If you're done...." he said, his disapproval apparent in his voice, "We should plan our next course of action."

"...What should I expect from these guys..?" Bojaun said, seeming markedly more jumpy.

"The Marshals will question you thoroughly on everything they can think of, take genetic samples from you - or whatever your equipment is, and have you detained until the current situation is over. Once over, you will be given a ride to whatever part of the system you want to go to, and this will all be a distant memory. Now, should the Inquisition happen to be the ones to respond, I don't think you'll ever see the light of day again. I don't know what they do, and quite frankly, I don't want to know. An associate of mine once described their methods as messy."

(for now, yeah.)

Once the Inquisitor finally removed himself from the outer limits of the settlement, the cloaked Valkyr P finally take a sigh of relief as Aria slides down and sits down with a *thud* beside the chimney, using it as a support.

Over at the Nyx P, the cloaked white and green frame runs over to the shell of a sniper. In several clean strikes, it slides down to the empty puppet`s feet, before bounding up ans spinning into a flurry of roundhouse kicks; the first in a disarming attempt on the knife still in his hand, the second to send him flying off the roof and into the streets below.

(wait, what? no, Aria's not cloaked. there's three masses running around)

((I thought she's been cloaked for a while now. When did she decloak?))

Bojaun cringed. "I think I like these Marshals better than the Inquisitors..." He kept looking at the sky, watching and listening for the sounds of approaching ships. "Alright... What would you suggest?"

"Pick a direction, then start running." The Constable said simply, still scanning the Horizon. "I'll look the other way."

((Hey, weren't you going to try to capture this guy? I didn't really plan on him getting away ))

((Okay, I'll think of something. Even if it's a bit out there.))
"Know any direction that would take me to another town-" As Bojaun spoke, the 'blood clot' on his jaw popped loose, spilling black blood all over the ground. He clenched down on it. "OW! Dammit..." blood poured over his fingers."maybe a town with repair kits and medical supplies?" he asked, Sitting against a window sill. Then he thought "...Sh!t... How are you gonna explain all the blood?" He asked, pointing all the dark spots on the ground.

(So, is Deadwood still mostly intact since I left? Also, how would I go about trying to get involved in the main story at this point?)

((Everyone has more or less trickled out of deadwood by now. As for getting back into the main story, let me think on that one. We've kinda messed up the intended progression, so I've got to think of a new way for the story to move forward.))

(Alright, cool. Looks like we'll have two characters there, then.)

He was starving. He was dehydrated.

He was also determined, which can nullify the first two short-term.

His Lanka was holstered on his back as this clearly ex-Corpus walked into the settlement of Deadwood. His uniform was tattered, not even protecting him from the sand. He held a datapad in his hand, and looked down at it every once in a while. He was clearly injured, with a minor limp slowing hin slightly.

I might be able to find something here. If not, I can lay low here and go over the new info.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a small, bulky, and very excited-looking kubrow bounded up to him, blocking his path as she stopped to sniff him curiously.

"Kbeel. Get back here," Called a voice, and the kubrow returned to her place...standing at attention at the heel of a white-and-orange (and rather sand-worn) frost. (close inspection would reveal a steel meridian sigil on his chest, partially hidden by the patterns of his armor)

There was a moment of silence while the tenno looked him up and down.

Seeing the Tenno, he pulled out a Lato and began lining up a shot. However, after a moment, he lowered it again.

He didn't attack me. Strange.

He placed the Lato in a holster, and studied the Frost.

He doesn't look like he's with them, and they think I'm dead...

Leveret held up his hands. "Whoa, sorry. Didn't mean to scare you there. Either way, though, you're not looking great. You're not with perrin, are you?"

The whole time, Kbeel sat at his feet. When this New Person leveled a gun at them, she growled quietly, but settled almost immediately when the weapon was holstered, returning to her happy panting.
