None of the salvagers stopped to check on the lone crewman as they made their way through the small settlement, though they certainly gave him a wary eye and kept their distance as they walked past him. An unspoken rule in Deadwood is "don't start trouble, don't get trouble". So long as Efahz doesn't actively start something against someone outside of self defence, the populace are willing to leave him to his own devices. Out here, uniforms and factions and syndicates aren't worth a darn. Bullets and alcohol don't discriminate after all. All that matters is making their fortunes at the wrecks during the day and surviving to the next one.

At this point, Efahz didn't care if he didn't find a bed. Best case scenario, he stayed isolated. He was searching for either some place with a surplus of beds, or somewhere out of the way where he could pass out on the ground. After the past few days, anything sounded better than going back into that desert.

With that, Aria's black and red painted Scimitar's hanger doors silently open once again, the first stars starting to twinkle into being overhead. With a running start, the pair of ninjas take a running start before leaping out into the space beyond, skydiving face first towards the nearest available cover overlooking the Frost.

{...Understood...} Ambassa replied, scanning the area for any signs of the Lost Frost. As the two tenno moved, she locked onto something: assorted debris and shrapnel bathed in void energy. No answer came from the Nyx, but the craft's sensors up above would pick up the pair of Tenno changing their course as they dive down through the air, veering towards the location given by the cephalon as they splay their bodies out to slow their descent.

Leveret spent a bit of time in his ship, taking stock of what all he had learned. ((aka I've been silent for a while, oops))
After he was sure Efahz was far enough away from his ship that there wouldn't be an awkward second encounter, he headed back out and towards town for what was, for all intents and purposes, the third time that day.

When the Aria and Mia touch down, they'd find debris from fairly involved battle: bullet holes and casings everywhere, dark fluid covering part of the ground and walls, a blast patterns and a scrap of chard red cloth that had been involved in an explosion. But what would stand out would be a discarded Soma, and bits of scorched white and green bio-metal littering the entrance to one of the buildings and scattered across a large section of the landing zone.

Up on her perch, the Nyx P pulls out a remote observer from her pocket gear. Linking up with it, she uploads footage in real time to Ambassa as Mia sweeps the area from left to right.

It wasn't long before Vilkas pinged him. "Operator, got something that might interest you. You know how you were looking for tenno? I found, well, probably not a tenno, but quite a blob of void residue juuuuuust inside scanner range. Might be worth checking out."
Leveret checked the map on his HUD. A bit of a walk, but worth it. "Thanks, Vilkas. I'll go check it out."

Two figures stepped out of the shadow of a nearby house, a familiar red clad grineer and an operator wearing some hybrid armor that looked like a a zariman suit with grineer armor plating.

"I must say I'm disappointed in you," J'Taav said, stepping over a scrap of red cloth. "I had fully expected you to have eliminated the Hierarchy command structure by now."

The operator just leaned against a nearby house, hands resting casually on the vipers at her waist. The infested glaive on her wrist squirmed briefly at the sudden movement.

"You ever notice," she thought with a mental grin, "That we never meet anywhere that isn't a warzone?"

As J'Taav and Sarah exposed themselves, a Hierarchy ship rose from the other side of the town, and tore off into the distance.

"And there goes your last lead," J'Taav said, only sparing the ship a brief glance. "What a pity."

There's gotta be somewhere to sleep...

At this moment, Efahz realized how sleep deprived he was. For the past two weeks, he had been lucky to get four hours of sleep daily, and he hadn't slept at all for the last three days, instead trying to find his way through the desert. He was suddenly struggling to stay conscious, and realized he wouldn't find anywhere.

He gave up, and tried to find somewhere on the ground where he wouldn't be noticed for a while, and decided to simply sleep on the ground.

Leveret was eager to get back on the trail, picking up the pace to a hasty fast-walk, which turned into a bullet jump as he reached the outside of town. His elytron met him mid-air, and he continued in the direction of the void energy, scanning the ground below for anything out of the ordinary as he passed overhead, propulsion system raging. At last, he was nearing visual range of the area, and he slowed to standard speed as he cautiously approached.

As the Hierarchy ship took from it's landing point, Bojaun leaped ferally from his hiding place, keeping himself hidden in the jet wash. He ran up one of the walls, and lightly clasped onto the hull as not to alert the sensors.
J'Taav would notice that, as the ship passed, Several droplets of dark fluid would land on his face (plate?) and armor.
Through the remote observes placed by Mia, Ambassa would see these black specks land as well.

Without another word, both frames dash to the base of the large building before running up the side like bugs on a tree, flipping over onto the rooftop. Not breaking their momentum, they dash on all twos (or all fours in one case) to the other end before taking a leap of faith off the edge.

They disappear from sight like a rock, before the roar of four engines fill the air. The frames soar straight up into the skies, a black and red Itzal and Elytron leaving trails through the air as the duo give chase after the Hierarchy ship, veering past Leveret with near misses on both sides as they break all speed limits.

Luckily, Leveret was able to put two and two together fast enough to figure out that he should be following the ship as well, racing to catch up with the other two frames that had just sped past him. As he moved closer, he attempted to ping their comms. "{Uh, hey there. Looks like we're after the same thing here. Mind if I join in?}"

{...Stand by. I'm warming up the engines now... wait...Mia, I think you and Aria should grab some archwings...} Ambassa said, the Mantis' engines spinning up. {...I can't be certain, but I think something is...clinging to the ship...}

{...IT'S HIM! GO! DON'T LET THAT SHIP GET AWAY!...}she sputtered, the mantis now hovering above the city as it began speeding towards the outgoing Hierarchy ship.

((Cue the Benny Hill theme))

The ship gunned its engines, frantically trying to outdistance the pursuing tenno craft.

(I prefer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNrjtYd_BsM myself. gotta get me some UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ. I'd also accept https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTHsOSGJHN0)

Neither archwings slow down, but instead the air is filled with an earth shattering boom as they kick in their afterburners, creating a shockwave as they smash through the sound barrier, steadily gaining ground against the fleeing ship.

A voice crackles through Leveret's radio, feedback spiking for a moment as a boisterous amazon of a voice shouting at the top of her lungs(?),

"GOTTA GO FAST~! GOTTA GO FASTER, FASTER, FASTER~!" the voice roars with glee, excitement with just a tinge of bloodlust bleeding over the airwaves.

((in all honesty, this is my favorite song for fast-paced resource farming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMH49ieL4es)) Leveret couldn't help but chuckle to himself, finding the enthusiasm a bit contagious. "Comin' in loud and clear," he responded, "Looking forward to working with you."
