The grineer had already rounded up and executed most of the civilians. If he wanted to escape, he'd have to do it now.

He needed to escape, but had no way to do so. He couldn't find anything that could outrun the Grineer. He knew he was probably screwed, but he wasn't going to die like this. Maybe they wouldn't find him if he tried hiding.

He crawled down from the roof of the building, and dashed through the nearest entrance. He held his Lecta in one hand, and his Lato in the other. He looked around for any objects to hide behind to avoid being seen by anyone that walked in.

Aria and Mia begins walking down the hallway, Galatine leaving a trail of sparks and molten metal as the tip of the void infused blade is dragged along the bottom. The trek is more labor intensive than normal, but nothing unmanageable for the moment.

"...focus..." The Nyx whispers, more gentle than lecturing, voices reverberating throughout the back of Svytoj and Leveret's heads as she steps in time with the Valkyr. "...keep those thoughts on hand, but don't let it distract from what's in front of you; at the very least I doubt it'll be the same as last time..."

"...I'm just gonna keep myself going with thoughts of how nice it will be to touch down on mars again after all this, if that's alright with you..." came Leveret's response.

As they head through the ship, they find that the rest of the vessel was equally deserted. hallway after hallway, room after room, all lifeless. As they walked, their energy continued to be sapped, only growing stronger as they neared the other side of the ship.

Eventually, the tenno reached a massive doorway that seemed to be roughly in the center of the ship. It was unlocked, but needed to be opened manually. In their current drained state, however, this would be quite exhausting.

((I'm guessing that means there's no death orbs to slurp from))

"Right..." Leveret said, propping the muzzle of his Hek on the ground and leaning on it in an attempt to rest a moment, "this is going to really suck...anyone have any ideas that don't involve...wasting what little energy we have left?"

He wiped his forehead with the back of one hand, leaving an orange streak across his face from the slushy not-quite-ice dripping from his hands.

Cricking her neck, Aria slowly walks away from the door. A few steps in, she goes into a series of limbering exercises; stretches, flexes, running in place. Afterwards, she crouches down and gets into a crouch position like someone about to run in a compettion. She raises her butt, gets ready to sprint...

then get back up, pulls out a rocket from her Elytron, and chucks it at the door; not as hard as before, but hard enough to still cause considerable damage.

A nearby door burst open, and a blood-splattered Mesa strode out, dragging what looked like a tenno cryopod behind her. She had no visible wounds on her, so the blood was someone else's.

The mesa paid the intruder little attention, heading towards the exit of the obelisk. The sound of another ship landing could be heard coming from that direction.

The intruder was standing between the Mesa and the sound of the landing ship. He placed a hand on the belt of his pants, letting the barrel of his vectis dip lightly into the sand.
"Looks like quite the haul, Kiddo. Your friends give you a bit of trouble over it?" The intruder asked, his coarse voice betraying the sing song-y tone he was trying to put on.
he cocked his head; behind the rounded helmet, his eyes were now flitting between the blood stains on her body, and the Mesa's helmet. The rusty & grime soaked gears in his head spinning.
He shouldered his Vectis, letting it rest on his back. The key in his armor rattled slightly.
"No... not 'kiddo'... NEW kid... " He let out, the tacked on sing-song tone now gone. "If you Ain't a Zarimon Brat... Who are you...?"

He grinned, hidden behind his helmet.

The explosion of the missile is muted, and only makes a small dent in the blast door. A shaft of light shines through the small crack.

It was unlikely that they'd be able to get through the door with the explosives they had on hand.

"Irrelevant. Move or be moved."

Then it resumed walking, dragging its cryopod with it. its shatter shield was still active form its previous fight, and the energy swirling around the mesa's pistols indicated that its next shot would hurt.

He decided on a couch. It would provide the most cover, and you never know what you might find behind a couch. He put his Lecta away, allowing him to keep one hand free. He stayed in cover, and hoped to Gaben that no one would find him. If he couldn't escape, he'd just wait it out.

"Ugh...first they make me run around, then they take away my explosions..." Aria groans, irritated disappointment clearly dripping her voice.

Twin void snakes unfurl from out of the Valkyr's arms, coil around her held weapons and twist upwards to the top of the doors. Latched on tight, she takes a proverbial deep breath and gives both lines a mighty tug outwards.

Svytoj closed in, Med kit and canteen in hand.
"Alright, Kiddo. Unless you're feeling sick, I'd suggest you drink up." He said, somehow sounding more alert as he handed the container of water to the exhausted Valkyr. "Honestly, I don't feel comfortable leaving one of our own outside." He still sounded tired, but less complacent about it. He began monitoring Aria's vitals, along with those of Mia and Leveret.

Wordlessly while still lying down on the floor, Aria lays her weapons down and grabs the supplies from the Frost. Her hands glow faintly as claws sprout to life over her fingers as she clenches the items in her palms. A short second later as she opens them back up the last of the water and plastic is subsumed into her frame, container and all. Arms reaching back down, she picks up her weapons and gets back on her feet using only her leg muscles.

The light pouring through the door obscured whatever lay within. They'd have to enter to discern how many - if any - combatants were on the other side

The intruder watched as the ship departed, giving it a mock salute with the dust and sand swirling around him. When the Hierarchy ship was a good distance away, he blinked; a red streak cutting across the area between the landing site and the corpus wreck.
"Well now..." He said, back at the spot he first encounter the Mesa. "Guess I should see what mess they've made." his voice, up beat. He walked inside the wreck, his Vectis still resting on his shoulder.

A large, open room lay before him. The walls, floor, and ceiling were pristine-white, with gold inlaid into it in classic orokin style. The room was massive, almost cathedral like with a roof that towered above them. The light of the room was nearly blinding, yet no obvious source was visible. By all means, the room should be as dark as a cave.

A single figure, clad in resplendent white and gold armor knelt in the center of the room, turned away from the tenno, head bowed in prayer.

Svytoj watched the man, head cocked slightly to one side. He continued his stride, walking the perimeter of the room towards the edge the man was facing. He stopped when he was face to face with him, staying at the far edge of the room.
He let the fingers of his left hand flex idly, just watching this person sit in prayer.
He did not draw his weapon. He did not raise his voice.
The Old Frost simply...waited.
