Ignis Wraith vs Amprex

Obviously, I'll be using these for the AoE. However, which is going to be more viable in terms of damage against high level (80+) enemies? Which is better for status? My main frame is also Saryn, if that changes anything.

The answer is pretty obvious, Amprex for damage and Ignis for status.

Ignis also has decent damage, not good enough for sorties though. I prefer launchers when I want an AoE weapon for high-level enemies.

But im not sure if amprex gonna make it on lvl 80 unless you got some sweet riven (i might be wrong here but im pretty sure its almost useless on lvl 100 but it still does its job on lvl 50)

nonsense, Amprex deals plenty of Damage.
you'll burn through Ammunition pretty quickly, but you certainly Kill things.

it isn't AFKFarming levels of click and you win as more recent Weapons, but that doesn't determine whether a Weapon is actually competent at performing.

 

it's a Weapon for dealing Damage to many Enemies at once, it's not going to compete against a Spike Damage Weapon for Single Target TTK. but it's not trying to either.

It's actually not useless in level 100 or higher at all.

Well my riven (Amprex Lexicron) increases crit rate, punch through, and recoil. Is it really good?
