Nidus helmith immunity?

When I got Nidus I noticed the little Helmith infection but didn't think much of it. About 10 or so days later I went into the one chamber and sat down in the chair 'curing' Nidus of it. Day or so later I sat down in it again with seemingly no effect. Its been about two months since then and I haven't grown another cyst. I thought that Nidus was suppose to be able to grow Cysts after sitting in the chair without one. Did I miss something here or is this a bug?

Your Nidus was infected by another player, instead of the chair itself. When you sat in the chair you Cured your Nidus, making it permanently impossible to grow any cysts on it

I bought Nidus and wasn't infected by another player so am I still outta luck on this?

Curing the cyst on the chair makes it impossible to get it grow again on the frame you've sat on the chair with.

Get infected on another frame by another player.
