  1. I think for me personally the issue are the micro stutters of my internet connection. I occasionally get these 1-2 second stutters, which cause me to disconnect me from the host, but the stutters aren't severe enough to disconnect me from chat servers or they don't throw me into the login screen. This doesn't happen in any other game, and after 1-2 seconds, before the host migration screen even pops up, my browser for example is completely functional again and able to load web pages. Host migrations like these do not happen in any other game for me either. Warframe is the only game I am having problems with host migrations, and it's making the game in co-op totally unplayable. I cannot even play through a full Arhimedea run with a team. I don't understand why a 1 second hickup has to disconnect me from the host.
  2. There are still bugs with Lua Thrax staying invulnerable and getting stuck in the transformation animation, causing permanently increased life support drain in Conjunction Survival missions. This should really be fixed. An alternative easy bandaid solution would be to simply not make the Lua Thrax drain lifesupport at an accelerated rate. In the screenshot below the spectral Lua Thrax has been stuck there for 4 minutes since the 10-minute reward interval. A secondary bandaid safefail for this would be to just despawn any (stuck) Thrax when X minutes have passed since they've spawned.
  3. I think the kill condition on companion mods is poor design in general. In high to mid level content the companion damage will fall off no matter what, and in low level content the effects are insignificant, because the player will be able to one-hit kill enemies at much higher levels than the companions will. I'm looking forward to whatever they will cook up for the part 2.
  4. I'd rather wish the game was pay to win than be forced to wait several weeks of rotations to get equipment I would actually like to have fun with.
  5. Yeah that's the difference between gameplay lore and Codex lore of this game, I touched upon that in the same post you replied to. That's the obvious flaw of Warframe's storytelling in general. Majority of the people do not read the Codex at all, because the story in general in Warframe to those people is just an afterthought due to how it is and isn't told through gameplay. If you're a newer player still going through the early game quests, none of the Codex entires really mean anything to them, because the events and characters mentioned in those entries are something that those players have never seen in the actual game. Never blame bad storytelling on the player, blame it on the bad storyteller. It's a hole DE dug for themselves.
  6. I'm not really a fan of how the lore changed after the New War. Sure, playing with eternalism and the void gives DE endless possibilities to design different events, environments and timelines, but at the same time all those events and timeless become equally meaningless at least to me personally. From the perspective of new player experience, I can only imagine how totally confusing it must be to be presented with an option to pick a timeline you want to play in, especially when the events aren't properly explained until the New War and Angels of the Zariman quests. The lore of the operator timeline wasn't that deep to begin with, at least the portion that is told and portrayed through real gameplay wasn't, as the majority of the lore is read through text entries in the Codex. Going from one shallow timeline to potentially multiple shallow timelines removed any real focus the game had in its story. It's a turnoff to players who care about deeper story telling. When events we have experienced can suddenly be rewritten, the story became a tangled weave of strings of which none of them go to anywhere.
  7. There is no reason to penalize players for DE's terrible design. They should allow players to start the first objective when they wish, and let any latecomers join at their own pace.
  8. May I introduce you to the recruitment chat, or maybe finding a clan or some friends? Perhaps some solo. Just don't play public.
  9. 10 years later, host migrations still crash sessions or softlock missions.
  10. Get rid of the rotations. Let us have equipment that we want and will actually have fun with. Nobody asked for this system, and you clearly didn't care enough about it to even internally test it.
