I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Man, I listened through a lot of your tunes looking for inspiration, then I went off to play with the mandachord for 45 minutes without useful results, barely feeling like I was making progress. Lacking both talent, knowledge and experience all is quite daunting. I think it's best I just place my song requests, and maybe pick something from this already vast selection if none of them work out.

Space Crusade theme - If you can do anything at all with any part of the melody of this one, that would be absolutely sick, especially if it loops well. Probably my most nostalgic video game tune of all times.

Project X theme - I feel like this one is the hardest of the three, awesome track though, also very nostalgic.

If you can't make those work, how about Track 03 from Lotus 3? Maybe it's too fast, I don't know.

What Angel that wakes me/Titania's theme from Final Fantasy 15.

I've tried to do it myself with mixed towards low luck. Apparently it's a ternary rhythm, which means 1-2-3 rather then 1-2-3-4.

It's in 6/8 time.  There's a couple of ways to deal with that, here's one of them:
