I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Not sure what you'd call that genre of orchestral music, but none of it is going to fit on a Mandachord.

When I say a song doesn't have anything I can work with, what I usually mean is it does not have a melody with notes you could play on a standard musical instrument. 

In your case, it's basically just a guy talking.  There's a brief section of actual melody, but I doubt that's what you're looking for, and it's not going to work anyway.

Oh, someone a few replies up already mentioned that song.  This is another example of not having anything I can work with.

Hey there!!

Could you try doing "Falling" by Blacklite District on the Mandachord? Any part would be fine (the entire song is pretty good anyway lmao) as it's a pretty fun song to have, especially if it's on while I'm running a mission.

Yeah, the main BG3 theme is the chorus of that.  I've thought pretty hard about that, and it's borderline but I can't make it not suck.
