I'm still trying to do rounds once a week, but for the foreseeable future the actual day is going to vary because of reasons.  Contests will still be on the weekends on my YouTube Channel.

Ground Rules:

  • Rounds are on Wednesdays
    • Everyone gets one, if I can.
    • If I've done a request for you then please wait two weeks before requesting another.
    • If I'm backlogged then I may not get to yours for a few rounds.
    • If you have a list then I'm only going to go through the top 3, so please try to narrow it down.
  • No "extended" music links, please, just the original one time through is much easier to work with.
  • If you have a particular section of the song in mind then make sure you mention it.
  • Please don't PM me with requests.  Just leave it on the thread and I'll get to it when I can. 
  • "Can you do anything from ______?"  You're going to have to narrow it down to specific songs for me.  I don't have omniscient knowledge of all music, yet.
  • I don't really take Shawzin requests; not enough time and something had to give.

A: You don't, not until Octavia returns with the Prime Vault.  In the meantime, substitute these:

  • Bombast Percussion -> Gamma Percussion
  • Bombast Bass -> Beta Bass
  • Bombast Melody -> Epsilon for slow melodies, gamma for fast ones

Hey there! Any chance you could do something from Tool? Karnivool? Nine Inch Nails? Animals as Leaders? Some of their songs are in odd-time signatures, which makes it impossible to replicate, but these are some of the more simpler ones:

Some of the cool riffs in here (Not just the quiet intro, but they don't differ much)

Been trying it myself but I can't tell if it's just not possible or my inability to do it (I'm leaning on the latter) 

edit: Probably more specifically the main part at 27 seconds as it adds a bit more beats which may or may not help. 

Can't make it work.

It's in 5/4 and precisely the wrong tempo, but it's the closest to "doable" of any KH song I've seen.  So I did something:

Ugh, Eurobeat always has *precisely* the wrong tempo.  Your only choices are equivalently way too fast or way too slow.

It's not the weird meters that really doom this genre of music; it's usually the note choices include intervals that don't exist on a Mandachord.  They tend to be very dependent on half-steps.  That last Tool one starts with a riff I can do, but that is *very rare* for Tool.
