So since the Telos got nerfed big time i wonder what weapon/melee is good with equinox now to get quick amount of maim any advices??

Atterax. High crit potential, long range, high damage, etc.

I know Daggers + Covert Lethality does the trick rather quick. It's been a long while since I've done that combination but I think it's more relevant in 40+ missions when enemies start to get a bit more beefier and can get higher numbers with it. Something like that. I personally use whips to get the job done or the Lesion if I want to see stupid high numbers lol.

Another option is AOE weapons such as the Ignis if you decide to go guns-a-blazin'.

Pretty much this! Just make sure to have Reach or if you can get the opportunity to when Baro comes around, to upgrade to the Primed Reach variant~

If you like OP slide attacks, can't get anymore OP than OP, i.e. Orthos Prime :D
Primed Reach + Maiming Strike + Blood Rush = red crits all over the place (in Quick Melee, even).

Bleed proc, otherwise slash isn't great against armor.

What the others have already said, range, damage, crit. If you have room, whichever element of your choosing based on faction.
