Hixlysss
So, a few people know what the MR 23 test is "You follow a target around and slowly capture it." Which...would be great for a actual "Mobile Defense" style mission. Anyone else concur?
KimchiKen_Prime
sounds like Hijack to me.
Hixlysss
Just now, kenrhee said: sounds like Hijack to me. Different. Hijack only moves if you stand next to it. This moves without you standing next to it, it moves on it's own and you have to follow it and it is slowly captured. Imagine...interception but with mobile points. Xaero
It's mobile interception since you don't defend anything. Hijack, on the other hand, truly fits "Mobile Defence" name. Edited May 12, 2017 by Ksaero
KimchiKen_Prime
sounds good, kinda like the cryopod moving around the map on Ceres but a lot slower?
DSpite
We already have "Mobile Defense". We have had missions where we need to defend an actual person, and that little fracker keep running around thinking he can shoot things, and goes down every so often and we revive them. I don't understand why we don't actually have an Archwing game mode where we have to defend a convoy of ships, and we get paid in rewards depending on how many make it to the objective point. We would have to make tactical decisions on when we let one die in order to save others, we would need to spread the team out to cover multiple fronts, and we could even have cases where one ship gets tractor beamed to be captured and we have to try and deal with that.
