What if: Moving Lenses to Sentients

So, after completing The Second Dream, we fight Sentients and gain access to the Focus System, which is well and good. Problem is acquiring lenses. There are at least three options: Trade for a Lens, Earn a Lens in the Sorties, or Buy it for Plat off the market. Now, ever since access to Sorties was locked without completing The War Within, players are probably just going to be stuck between having to buy or trade for them. Given that the Focus system was something introduced straight after the end of The Second Dream, I was thinking that we can add it to the Battalyst drop table (given that all they do is drop "rare" conclave mods). Granted there's still the issue of RNG when it comes to which lens the Battalyst will drop or even if the Battalyst would drop something, I'm thinking it'd give people (at least the newer players) a reason to farm this eye-bleaching mob and potentially allow them more accessibility to experiment with the Focus Schools. So, what does everyone else here think about this proposal?

Wouldn't make much sense for the main enemy of the Tenno to drop the lenses representing the Tenno schools of focus. They cant take trophies from former Warframes/weapons of the old war since the sentient enemies we fight specifically were grown here in the Orokin system recently compared to a long time ago or from the Tau system.

While I do agree with this in theory, there are just so many logic faults scattered around that it fails to remain consistent.  Why do enemies drop anything of use to Tenno?  Mods, energy orbs, and the best example, power cores.

"Hey, let's go blow up this excavator that's digging holes into our planet but for reasons unknown lets invite our good buddy power core carrier guy who only ever comes out to fight when the tenno are trying to dig up stuff!  He should totally bring a power core that excavators require to even function and also restores its shields to defend against us!  Why not!"

Mods? They use them. Energy and Health? forms of energy from lifeforms that us with Oro can use. Power cores? Thats one is the flaw. Id go on about how DE could revitalize Excavation and give full purpose to enemies having power cores, but thats for another place and another time. Effectively boils down to enemies having their own excavators and players are both in a race against the enemy and are actively trying to sabotage enemy mining operations.

Well, anything can be given a retcon reason or purpose for existing.  Lenses off sentinels could be we are using actual parts of the sentient body.  Each lens type may, for the Tenno, be aligned with specific focus schools, but for the Sentients they'd have a different function.

Just because a lens is Madurai for our purposes doesn't mean it was originally designed for the Tenno specially with that being its only function.

Could actually be the same for power cores too.  While we do indeed use them for powering our excavators, the enemy could be carrying them into combat for another reason altogether (specific to their faction), and could actually be doing so all along everywhere, we just only notice them doing so because we have actual need of them only when we are excavating.

It wouldn't make as much sense for them to drop them, but as a reward maybe something like it could work. Weren't the Sentient arm cannon things intended to be linked to our focus schools or something? I wouldn't mind Lens going to Lua rewards like survival or defense honestly.
