A Focus lens will earn you a small fraction of you affinity towards whatever Focus school they represent.

The exp earned is based on if you put it on a weapon of the frame itself.

It it's a weapon then 50% of your gain will go to the weapon and 50% will go to the frame.

If it's on a frame then 50% will go to the frame from weapon kills or 100% from frame ability kills.

Exp earned from allies is mostly the same. Yellow boosters will spawn every 4-5 minutes winch will boost your gains for a short period.

BTW, I hope you're not expecting Zenurik's Energy Overflow to work during Sound Quake.
Because it doesn't :P

That's why I ask these questions lol. I actually don't even know what Zenuriks are. But now I know it won't work during Sound Quake lol. Thanks ;)

Question: how would you recommend regenerating energy for sound quake then?

The "easy" answer would be to have a Trinity at the ready to spam Energy Vampire the moment you stop a-quakin'.

If your Squad isn't just standing around leeching off of you but actually helps kill stuff,
a weapon with Entropy or Blight (Cephalon Suda / Red Veil stuff) can trigger its Syndicate effect
during Sound Quake, restoring some Energy to keep you going just a tad longer.

Really though, Energy Overflow is still pretty dang good to regen lotsa Energy between Defense waves / Interception rounds,
or even in the middle of one while you run around collecting loot (including Energy Orbs),
with enemies being stunned via Silence / blasted out of your way via Sonic Boom.

You can also lessen the rising Energy drain of ResoQuake by stopping and restarting,
maybe throw a Silence in the middle there to keep far away enemies CC'd until the range growth catches up to them again.
