Animo Nav Beacons

I took a break of 3 months from Warframe and was not around at the latest event. So I missed the whole Animo Nav Beacons thing. 

From what I understand I now need 40 Animo Beacon to fight Ambulas, right? This is similar to Kela De Thaym. But I do not understand how I get the beacons. The wiki says there are Ambulas proxies that come from dropships. I have seen the dropships in different Corpus missions. But I have yet to see an Ambulas proxy. Most of the time everything on the dropship gets killed on their way down. 

I guess killing a Ambulas proxy will not grant any beacons?

Its not guaranteed that the ship has one. Even if its killed it still drops to the ground like a hackable bursa so cant really miss it. (you need to hack it to get the beacons btw)

Pluto Defense should still be a really good spot to get beacons even though it will take longer then during the event.

It's random whether there'll be an Ambulas on a dropship. No idea why.

I've seen lots of dropships but not many Ambulas since the event.

IF there is an Ambulas and you kill it it will give you beacons. The level of the Ambulas dictates how many beacons you'll get.

From what I've gathered, Ambulas proxies will only spawn on open-air Pluto tilesets (not a guaranteed spawn).
